Hi, thanks for visiting. We’re Mary and Bob McIntire, Treasure Tree Jewelry, Treasure Tree Wire Wrapped Jewelry artists. Wire-wrapping gemstones or personal mementos has been our passion for over 11 years. For our gemstone creations, we begin with rocks direct from the earth.
The careful cutting, forming and polishing of each rough stone persuades it to reveal concealed beauty. We wind precious metal wire in intricate patterns around the shape, creating unique styles resulting in elegant jewelry.
One of the special gemstones in Virginia’s Rockbridge County, where we live, is unakite. It has exquisite variegated green and pink patterns when polished. When we’re not doing a show, you might find us in a local creek or mine exploring for future creations. Incidentally, unakite is the State Stone of Virginia.
